My digital camera won't let me transfer files to the memory card from the computer unless I update the drivers for the camera which is fine with me but my wife likes the default windows drivers which are easier for her. My question is this. Can I set up each user account to load a different driver for the camera? If so, how? I have Windows XP Pro and the camera is a Kodak CX6330.

win xp? hmm, thats not the drivers thats just how windows recagnises it, if you have win xp you should get a pop up that gives you the optinos of how to act when that device is installed. your anser is yes and no, wile you can only really use one driver (per say) you can have it react differantly for each user.
This is not making much sence, I think the propble is not the drver but something else, why wont it let you trans the files, can you even view them? It should always let you view it as if it was a storage device, just open it in the my computers folder. if it does not recognise it then update the drivers and change the settings to what you want. might help if i know what camera, if its usb or if you have a card reader, etc. -------------------- ![]() |
