Got alot done today. The bumper is actually a reality, and now a part of my car. I glassed the 2 parts together using fiberglass and kevlar. The pictures are real and not photoshopped. I then primer it white to look a little better. While I was at I pulled out my hot glue gun and glued those rubber rings to my headlights. So tommorow, I will go and buy some shortstrand kittyhair, since I dont want to use rage filler for this. I will then hit the front with the grinder because some of the kit is overlaping top to bottom. Once thats sanded flat, I will apply the kittyhair and sand it straight.
The 7th gen veilside sideskirts also found their way on to my car. They took some serious warping with a heatgun, and the they are about a inch and a half too long. Cool, because I could not get the front part to fit right. Its warped funny. so I cut the front off to take the space. I will cut the front in 2 pieces and mold it back on to the side skirts, due to its wierd shape. Screws showing will done be countersunk and tops filled with filler so you cant see them. The project is working out pretty good so far. I still need a cool looking vent for the front to give it some life. So put your pictures up. Doggy, I didn't like the rsx veilside vent, but thanks though for the ideal. I also dont want to use the gt4 vent either. Here are some pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
