I just saw them on ebay and i didnt know any such thing exists... I thought they were all electronic and costs a sh*t load... Anyone ever used a manual boost controller and is it really a cheap alternative to the expensive electronic versions?

Yes, alot of us have them. I recommend a Joe P or TwosRus if you go MBC. The advertisement that they eliminate boost spike is misleading. It really depends on your turbo and wastegate. Ball and Spring type are the best if you go that route.
