QUOTE(Pali_playa @ Jan 6, 2005 - 11:27 PM) QUOTE(Ricky @ Jan 6, 2005 - 1:45 PM) It looks very good... however I must say something to you... I used to have a set up like that, the box being the spare tire and it was just like yours but I had 4 MB Quart subs 10inch. It sounded like ****. it looked beautiful and very clean but the sound sucked. I eventually changed it to a better setup.. not as good looking but better sound. that couldve been the way the box was built, or the reverb of the car, or b/c u didnt dynamat. but ive heard some nice false floor systems The box was built exactly the same way you see on those pics... The car was a Celica hatch 89... Dynamat was not the problem... The problem was the air space... The Seakers I had were not designed to use the air space that I had on the box. The box was perfect, the air space was not. My suggestion for you is to make sure that the airspace that he has available complies with the sub he is going to install. if the airspace wasnt right then the box wasnt right. they go hand in hand. my volume cubic feet is about .9 the type R asks for .7-1.0 |
