new 2 12" subs and 400 watt amp., mmm Options

yeah thats one of the many stuff for christmas i got. me and my dad are like stereo newbs so its taken us awhile to figure out the wiring and such (other than the fact that he's a electrical engineer ) but we started it at 3:10 and its now 8:37 and we stopped at 8:22 ish and the only reason why we stopped is because the drill we had wasnt charged to drill a hole into the firewall to feed the power source/cable, whatever. and it kinda pissed me off i really wanted to hear the subs go thumpie . high enticpation, im waking up early tommorow (10 o clock is early on winter break he he) but i got pictures of it before and such that we put it in. i mounted the amp on the back of the subs, i read somewhere thats a no no... but i really didnt have newhere else to put it. i have a 2 year warranty reguardless. so tommorow when its all done and cleaned up ill post pictures and such.

I am not going to flame you, or bash your stuff black, but if you want some help or have questions feel free to PM me. My dad has been in the car stereo business for 25 years now. I have been helping him with his business for the last 13 years. Even ask crazycel about the boxes my dad has built, he has been in my shop and is useing one of my dads boxes for his 2 compVR 12's.
