My stock CD player ain't reading my regular and burnt CDs. All it does is keep spitting the CD back out! Does anyone know what wrong with it ? confused.gif

Well, it depends on if it's a CD-R, or CD-RW disc you're trying to play. I've NEVER seen a CD deck that didn't play CD-R's, but I've seen quite a few that won't read CD-RW's. Also, make sure you check the audio format that you burned it with. There are alot of formats that only your computer can read. I went ahead and broke bread for a deck that will play anything, I had some of the same problems you did. Or, there's always minidisc!!

Hey Iceman, I read somewhere you had a Double din Kenwood System like mine, my one maybe a year or so older than your model.
Have you had any problems with your Minidisc player?
My one's starting to spit out the MD, I repaired the CD
after the last attempted theft of the unit, but now the
MD's playing up I'm not looking forward to dismantling it
again( too many pieces).Your system should be pretty
safe in Japan though, theft from cars is pretty dishonourable over there!
