speed limiter Options

Hi everybody,
I have got 6g celica JDM equiped, everything is OK with this car, but there is one problem. It has speed limiter at 185 km/h.
Maybe somebody knows how to switch it off???

As long as i remeber, there is one wire that goes to your ECU, that sends speed signal. you can cut this wire, and put the switch on it, cuz if you totaly uncut it, your Engine check light will be on always, so then you really need top spead, just switch it off

gt4 kol kas vaziuoja, vis nera laiko prie jo giliau pasikuist.
siaip kazkas bilda priekinej pakaboj ir niekas neranda kas...

There is also some metal noise in front suspension, but I can't find where is the problem, maybe somebody can suggest some solutions....

Hello. I wouldn't cut the wires if I were you.

I bought a Blitz speed delimiter for about 70 UKP and installed that. Works.

BTW, it's limited to 180kph. Your speedo, like every speedo in the world, overreads.

There is also some metal noise in front suspension, but I can't find where is the problem, maybe somebody can suggest some solutions....

On a ST205? Let me guess, you've got 60-70000 miles on the clock and it makes a clonking noise if you hit a bump on a turn. It's also feeling a little vague.

Suspension arm #2 and the figure of 8 (camber control) joint are worn. You might want to sit down before I tell you how much.
