I've heard other cars make this noise, and I was wondering if anyone knows what it is. When I turn at small speeds in 2nd gear (I haven't heard it in 1st or 3rd), I hear an intermittent popping sound at the front wheels. Anyone have an idea what it is?

I don't have aftermarket shocks or springs, I'm getting those soon. What exactly are CV joints and where can I buy them? Sorry if it's a newb question but I have no idea...
