 popping noise -and now problems with the new axles, no more ABS |

I've heard other cars make this noise, and I was wondering if anyone knows what it is. When I turn at small speeds in 2nd gear (I haven't heard it in 1st or 3rd), I hear an intermittent popping sound at the front wheels. Anyone have an idea what it is?

CV joints are your axles. They go from the trans to the front wheels. You might want to take a look under the car to see what condition they look like they are in. If the rubber boot is cracked or coming apart there is a good chance you need new ones. I got mine from Les Schwab. Any automotive parts store should be able to order them.
