Its a 5th gen, I think the hood and the sides look like crap, but madd props for the hacking job. He also plans to drop a mustang motor and convert to rear drive. rolleyes.gif He also targa cut the top.(hope he braced it)

pretty sweet to see all of that custom work... seems like he should have just saved it and bought a supra... but hey, cool idea.. unique tongue.gif

now since he chopped the roof, do you think that will cause him problems? I remember the conversations you all had about the support of the roofs in our celicas...

absolutely, i have cut many of a bugs or karman gias roofs off to make instant vert when I lived out in cali. We didn't care about the car because they were just surf cars. Cutting roofs is not a problem. You just got to brace the body first. The verts use a long piece of channel that runs along the sideskirts as well of additional plates in the body. I bet you this kid did none of that. then put a heavy v8 in it.........not
