It's been a while since I've been on here. (finally sold everything, quit my jobs and moved to the beach in Florida)
I thought it was funny that you thought of a great idea to do a calendar. In fact, I thought it was a good idea in May. Then you used cafepress. Hmm...that sounds familar. Whats this? You marked the calendar up from the base price of $14.99 to $16.99? Is'nt that the same thing you ripped on me about? Of course my markup was to keep the merchandise site paid for, but your merchandise is a free site. (the link below is to the topic in may that I am refering to) I must say shid and coomer, I am a bit dissappointed. CAFEPRESS previous discussion -------------------- ![]() |

Your wrong. I explained that it was to pay for the site itself. I explained that the site cost 7 dollars a month, and we would only need 3 things ordered a month at that markup to pay for it. It was a free 15 day trial for a premium site so that we could have multiple designs of the same item on the same site. When the money ran out, the site ran out.

You're wrong in calling me a hypocrite. The money off the calendars currently goes to breaking even. However, you had items on the site marked up more than a dollar. What happened when more than 3 items were sold in a single month? Sounds like straight up profit to me- especially when you just jacked the logo off the site and spent 5 minutes creating a cafepress page. I know full well you explained in the thread that the money was to pay for the site itself, but we explained to you we didn't need or want a premium site and the markup you were offering; and that all you had done was markup prices on a 72 dpi logo you got off 6gc's main page. You apparently still haven't read your own thread you linked; because in there I clearly state as such- and so does coomer, and so do others. |
