Anyone else excited about the success of Huygens? I find it really interesting and the views of what looks like liquid ethane or methane oceans is pretty neat.

Come on!! these are pictures of a body that is 10 times further from earth than the sun! The data of color pictures are huge comapred to those of black and white, and i dont know any exact numbers, but the data transmission window must be very narrow, so im sure they want as many pictures as they can get with the data tranfser rate they have.

Its amazing!! what we are seeing is what earth might have looked like 4 billion years ago!
