Just found out my front left wheel bearings are bad. I was quoted 150$ wondering if i can do it myself for cheaper and how hard it is to do.
If anyone has done it, let me know Jeremy |

You could save some by removing the spindle yourself and taking it to the parts store to get the new bearing pressed in, usually around $10-15 to press out the old one and re-install the new bearing +cost of bearing. however, I'd ONLY put an original Toyota bearing in or at least one made in Japan or USA,
the chinese/Tiawan, or brazil bearings dont last (put 3 in my Mazda in 14 months) got so I could have the spindle off in less than a 1/2 hour- lots of practice, finally had to get an original made in Japan Mazda bearing from the dealer - no more problems |
