Mexican cars can me titled in America but you'll need import/customs papers to do so, that means you'll have to title the gtfour there first then import it to america. Theoreticaly it'll work if Mexico will title it there. I'll double check tomorrow about what all is involved to import a car from Mexico/Canada when I go back to work tomorrow, each state will be different but the federal information should be the same. Any information about what it takes to get a car titled in mexico is beyond me though.
On a side note: You might think about importing as a "parts car" and then titling it as a specialy contructed vehicle. Here is a link to the Kansas specially constructed vehicle affidavit. http://sedgwickcounty.org/tag_office/pdf_files/tr91.pdf -------------------- ![]() Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |
