bad piston rings.....i just got off the phone with a bud that works at the shop i took it to. they don't specialize in that so he's gonna give me numbers on where to take it to.
my question is.........how much am i looking to pay to get this replaced?? and how long is it gonna take??

awesome, so "project 4agze pistons" is scheduled for sunday. its going to be a one day project, since i absolutely have no other time to do it. so bryan, u still feel up to it? we are getting a 2mm head gasket right? and do u know how to rework the rod deal with the pins? hopefully the headgasket we get will be the right one. thats pretty much my only concern right now (well besides the rods). i wont be pushing past 9 psi, so everything should be kosher, right guys??
keep feeding me input, everyone  p.s.- this will make a great addition to the search function for anyone looking this up in the future, since i couldn't really find anything prior.
