Got some newbie questions:
GOt a 1994 Celica have a ST205 celica engine bought through somone that shafted me on engine harness and ecu. Trying to get info on what harness, what tranny exactly I can buy to just get it and get it in the car and be done with the swap. -the car is not a gt,so I am guessing I need the 5sfe tranny or mr2 turbo?? -where can I buy a harness and ecu for this engine, do the ST205 come with mafs also? -Thanks for any help on these quesions... OK
If you have a Celica ST, the engine won't fit the motor mounts. It's not a huge problem, but some fabrication will be required. It should bold up to a Celica or MR2 transmission. The late spec MR2 is preferable as it has a LSD. 3rd Gen 3S-GTE has a MAP, not a MAF. With no wiring harness, you're in for an utter bitch of a job I suspect. -------------------- JDM ST205
