Simple q, is the turbine supposed to spin freely in a turbo thats not installed, or are you not supposed to be able to turn it with your fingers???? It's outside of my car btw for anyone that didn catch that.

they should turn with no problem. UNLESS you just got it rebuilt, like me. i had horrible shaft play so my mechanic made the compressor shaft seal tight. it now has NO shaft play. it does have a lil turn resistance when it just sits there, and it doesnt spin at idle, but once u give it some gas it moves nicely.
