Just found out my front left wheel bearings are bad. I was quoted 150$ wondering if i can do it myself for cheaper and how hard it is to do.
If anyone has done it, let me know Jeremy |

Pressing bearings in and out is not that difficult. If you have access to a press, you will save some $$ but not that much. $150 for both is not that bad. One front bearing costs almost $40, so you would only be paying $35 per side for install
If you are like me you would knock it out and put a piece of 4x4 over the new one and hammer it in. I work as a forklift mechanic and we do this everyday(to save time from driving to the shop to use the press). Seriously, either PRESS |
