Thinking about getting a Rotary..., FC Options

as it says guys, i drove a 86 or 87 RX-7 and fell in love with it on the spot.
The odometer reads 142,000 but the car itself is in decent shape for its age, the engine looked nice and clean, and sounded great, know wierd noises, real smooth.
i drove it and OMG, it was fun, no power steering made it more precise, no electronic controls, RWD, it drifts beautifully. Now the guy wants 1,500 for it and i like it so im thinking about it, but i would really like your opinions as long as they are constructive...

BTW, should the motor fail one day, how expensive is it to rebuild the rotary?

lol, my bad, cause i was on the RX forums and some dude put "APEXi" seals, so i thought thats what you all meant:P.

As for the celi im keeping it, and i still have the pristine 67' camaro for V8 power.

i just want the FC so i can have a project car that I can personalize the way I want it. I want to Paint it myself, reuphoster and repaint the entire int. ETC. Going to school now, later.
