Apparently a New York radio station morning show made a parody song about the tsunami that includes racist, disrespectful, and offensive remarks towards its victims.
Go here for the full story. There is also a link up for you to download the song and listen to it. I'm glad they are getting suspended. I think they should just get FIRED. This is absolutely sickening. I suggest you email or write these people and complain, etc. *sigh* EDIT: Ok, it seems those links aren't working. You can download the song here. i heard about this too with Hot 97, and thats shady how they attacked miss info after airing the song. miss jones needs to get fired quick.
theres free speech yes, but then there is also horribly bad taste and bad humor. you got to draw the line somewhere. what I want to know is, wheres all the civil rights and anti-racism groups? why no outrage? |
