I'm not sure what's wrong with my 94GT. At first my mechanic thought it was a bad wheel bearing, but now that he's listened to it, he's not sure. It's a rapid clicking/grating sound coming from the left side that only appears after the car has been driven at high speed for about 10 miles. Before that, it's quiet and normal. After the high speeds, it makes the sound at any speed. Anyone have this happen to them? I'm up to 246,000 miles now.

Check brake pads and calipers. I had a small piece of metal bend outwards and click on the rotor.
This was right after I had my wheel bearings replaced, so I think the shop knocked around the caliper or something. -------------------- ![]() |
