European money and American are different amounts aren't they? I've noticed that cars that cost around 13K here, cost around 25-26K in euro's. Any truth to that?

QUOTE(Bigmeanbulldog55 @ Jan 29, 2005 - 7:34 PM) European money and American are different amounts aren't they? I've noticed that cars that cost around 13K here, cost around 25-26K in euro's. Any truth to that? UK pound is worth about 1.9 USD. But we get taxed to death. A new Celica-GTS in the US would come in around 22K loaded up. That's 40K USD. A new Corvette is more like 50K UKP. Can you see a yank paying damn near 100K for a corvette? -------------------- JDM ST205
Blitz Spec NUR Exhaust, somewhere over $1000 Needing another one 18000 miles later, bloody annoying. |
