Question can I use fiberglass to shave my door handles? I know they are usually done by welding on a plate then hit it with some bondo etc.. However I dont have a welder but I am real good with fiberglass? yes? no? will it hold up?

I would say no. I dont think its going to bond well enough, also wont be as flush as welding. I would say find someone that can weld, or learn. Im trying to get a welder and learn my self.
