Question can I use fiberglass to shave my door handles? I know they are usually done by welding on a plate then hit it with some bondo etc.. However I dont have a welder but I am real good with fiberglass? yes? no? will it hold up?

Naw. You could get it flush and it would look good. but no matter how good you are with fg, all the abuse the doors get they fg wont stay in there. i shaved my sidemarkers and even those kinda started to sink in a little so ima weld those too. but with the doors, it is a MUT that you get them welded. if you dont know anybody that welds just go to a muffler shop, they'll do it.
