Question can I use fiberglass to shave my door handles? I know they are usually done by welding on a plate then hit it with some bondo etc.. However I dont have a welder but I am real good with fiberglass? yes? no? will it hold up?

#1 f/g won't sink into a body so i don't know how your saying your sidemarker shave is sinking?
#2 when you weld in a hole like shaving your rear spoiler those welds will most likely sink #3 as for f/g bonding to metal that will be fine the IDEAL way i would think to do it is to f/g from the back side of the door so that you can bondo the edges to insure a good stick/seal then bondo the outside smooth and contoured to the door |
