Question can I use fiberglass to shave my door handles? I know they are usually done by welding on a plate then hit it with some bondo etc.. However I dont have a welder but I am real good with fiberglass? yes? no? will it hold up?

FG sinks into the bodywork because the metal of the doors/wings, etc... will expand and contract in the heat and cold thus stressing the bits where the FG meets the bodywork.
Because of this, i got my friend to weld [edit] a metal plate over a hole for me and then filler over it; over a year later and no sinking or anything. This post has been edited by raz128: Feb 5, 2005 - 7:38 PM -------------------- |
