for the longest time i thought that was the root of all the evil (rattles). i completely took it off along with both tail lights and licence plate and the rattle there just as much as before. i can see the frame of the trunk on the inside and the outside of the car. do i just have to put dynomat or peal and seal on the frame? i tried to put up with it for a while, but nothing is as annoying as a huge rattle.

Yeah, I get an annoying 'buzz' sound from that panel in time with the bass, pretty embarrassing when you're cruising down the high street with the system up. My number plate is already mounted on some kinda foam sheet so I would like to know if the vibrations are originating from inside that panel? I have never gotten round to dismantling it but it must be possible to stuff it with some kind of foam or wadding to give it a bit more rigidity. I suspect it makes this sound just through resonance of the bass as the plastic panel is quite flimsy. Anyone got more knowledge on this? This definately is my number one 'rattle' to get rid of now im rebuilding my system for better sound quality. Look forward to your advice!
