51 in a 30. i figured the limit was 40 because it was a 4 lane road. anyway, after court costs and lawyer fees (to get the ticket taken off record) im in the hole $250. it may not sound like much to you guys, but i have to bag a lot of groceries to make up for it . mods on my celi will be idle for at least 3 months because i have to pay for that, build up $500 for insurance in july, and pay $100/mo for payments. im so pissed i cant do anything to my celi for a while.

LOL, so was I. I've just gotten more and more practice over the years. I found it got pretty fun to put the cop on the spot and make him provide his stuff. After all, they did it to us. Plus, the more time you take, the less time he is sitting on the highway giving other people tickets.

I gotta say I hate the police and the way they waste time on tickets. When I had my car broken into and called the police they said they were too busy to come and write a report. Then when I went out, I saw them sitting on the side of the road doing a radar trap. I've had a gun pointed at my head for doing 5 miles over the speed limit then trying to show the guy my license. I've been picked out of a crowd of people going faster then me. I've had police jump out of bushes on country roads to give me speeding tickets. I've even been pulled over for quote: being parked in a parking lot"! Not to mention dozens of times being asked to search my car for drugs and weapons when they pulled me over for improperly attached front tag.

Needless to say, once you get sick of being harrassed, you'll get more of a appreciation to screw em in court whenever you can. BTW, I have a clean license because of it.
