Can your average body shop mold cut out a hole and mold in a hood vent to make it look right? How much could one expect to pay for the labor? Has anyone had this done?

Looks great guys. I think I might investigate this further with some body shops in the area. Second question. Suppose I want to get a GT4 vent like DMC. Here is the information from Manny's post:
plate assy, hood bulge 76190-20010 $ 42.95 middle hood vent bulge assy, hood 76180-20010-AO hood bulge (the -AO after the pt# is a paint code, if you know your code insert it there.) Is the first item the grill and the second item the part that would be molded to the hood? -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |
