In a very general sense, turbos and nitrous both add more air and fuel to the engine. And both put a certain amount of stress on the internals that can be measured in psi w/ turbos. So we all seem to agree 8psi is safe for the 5s. But we've seen 12psi, forget who. So what would a 50 or 75 shot translater into as far as strees like psi? Meaning, wouldn't a 75 shot be like running 7psi? (round 9-11 hp per psi, 75 shot equals 75hp) I know my equations are creud, so if anyone can clear up, lemme know.

Nitrous is an explosive gas, it doesnt add air it takes it replaces it.

Nitrous is not flamable. It said so on my old bottel. I don't know where you pulled that from but my guess is fast and furious. How is nitrous going to pull air out? That's retarded. Nitrous oxide is NOT even flamable. The way nitrous oxide works is when it is heated above about 550 degrees ferinheight it releases the oxygen from the compound thus giving you extra oxygen, with more oxygen you can add more fuel which equals more power. also the cold temp "absorbs" the heat out of the intake air which cools making it more dense, this also gives you more power. if you have any more questions about how nitrous really works feel free to ask. trust me im right on this one. the degree in high performance automotive technolohy on my wall tells me im right. as far as adding bigger injectors, my suggestion is to look at your fuel pressure. if you have an additional fuel injector that turns on with the nitrous you should be fine. if not, you need to figure out if your injectors can handle the additional fuel flow that will be needed with the nitrous. if your injectors can handle a bit more pressure you should be fine, but typically with a stock system they use the smallest injectors they can get away with as this gives you the best idle quality due to the spray pattern. a bigger injector does not spray as well at idle speeds and will have a tendency to drip some of the fuel and give you ****ty idle quality.
