hey all,
I finally got my new red clock installed! i got it to work with the stock hour and minute buttons too! so it is completely stock looking except for the red numbers! anyway.... pics are in my profile! i ordered the clock from jcwhitney for 22 bucks shipped and have about 3-4 hours modifying it.....would be faster now that i know how to do it and it looks great! IMO just thought i would let you guys know it can be done if you want it to be done:) l8r |

i took the face housing of the jc clock and trimmed it down with a dremel until it hit into the front housing of the oem clock. i then cut out the button area on the jc clock face. i glued little tabs of plastic to the side of the stock buttons for hour and min to make the buttons work. i also took out the red plastic on the face to make it brighter and used the oem cover to dim it a bit. lastly, just glue it into place and there ya go.....i have pics and could do a how-to if you guys want....just let me know
