Can your average body shop mold cut out a hole and mold in a hood vent to make it look right? How much could one expect to pay for the labor? Has anyone had this done?

Ok. Critique this plan:
Cut a perfectly sized hole in the OEM hood and buy the GT4 center vent. Drill the holes for the studs and presto - I have a vented hood for my really hot engine bay. The only question I have is can the GT4 vent be bent slightly to flow smoothly over the rounded OEM hood (unlike the GT4 hood which seems to be flat where the vent is)? -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |
