Can your average body shop mold cut out a hole and mold in a hood vent to make it look right? How much could one expect to pay for the labor? Has anyone had this done?

QUOTE(lagos @ Feb 13, 2005 - 4:01 PM) you could always do a full gt4 hood and bumper like me an manny did. it does a good job at venting all that turbo heat out of the engine bay. Its a great idea and I have considered it. Its also about $1200 more expensive than my current plan - and thats money I want to dedicate to some performance mods.... ![]() QUOTE(Batman722 @ Feb 13, 2005 - 5:15 PM) I have a GT4 vent - it's just sitting in my room ![]() Very cool Batman! Care to share your proposed technique? Also, why not hit itchy up for his stock hood? -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |
