Hey guys, I'll be running a 3s soon.
I was wondering if you guys knew what the pro's and con's are for installing cams and aftermarket gears ? With the engine out, I'd like to install some aftermarket parts to the engine. Any other things I should throw in there ?

So far I'll be running fidanza 10 lbs. flywheel, Full 3 inch exhaust, stock exhaust mani (for now), Fmic, and more goodies I havent decided on yet.

So, with new cams and gears.
How would the engine run, and what would be the benifits?

BTW: Not looking to make this a daily driver.

Thanks guys,

cams can increase the torque and power in the same engine if they are properly degreed and the car is properly tuned. They also tend to shift the power band to the right (cause more turbo lag). I would not consider cams unless you were going standalone and had them installed by someone who knows what they are doing.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
