I just put in my front tien springs and its making a popping/crunching noise when I turn the wheel. I know that this is probably from not putting enough lube in while installing, but I really dont want to take it all apart now. Some Qs:
Will it go away by itself after a while? Is there like a breaking-in stage? Is there an easy way to oil the area that needs to be without taking them out? I didn't even really touch the areas with all of the lube, I just put on some oil and put it back together...There might be a little bit of crap in there... Not sure... what should I do? |

Hey Cheesy,
Are you sure you placed your springs correctly onto the rubber seals? There's a specific way that seats and if you don't seat the spring and rubber correctly that might be the cause of the popping? Or, you might of not correctly joined the top mount on correctly either. If you look at the top mount, you'll notice there's a way that it "locks" into place. You might be binding that lock. |
