I just put in my front tien springs and its making a popping/crunching noise when I turn the wheel. I know that this is probably from not putting enough lube in while installing, but I really dont want to take it all apart now. Some Qs:
Will it go away by itself after a while? Is there like a breaking-in stage? Is there an easy way to oil the area that needs to be without taking them out? I didn't even really touch the areas with all of the lube, I just put on some oil and put it back together...There might be a little bit of crap in there... Not sure... what should I do? |

I think I read somewhere that the springs don't ever sit in right, and they start binding together when you turn. There was a rubber seal somewhere online that prevented that, and someone posted that. I can't remember where though, so I don't help there.
