I just traded my hachi in for a 1987 mkiii Supra. I was wondering if any one in the 6gc community has one? It's a project car so these are the things wrong with it off the top of my head.
87 Turbo targa 5 speed Cracked drivers side mirror busted right fog lamp Leaking exhaust manifold Leak in P/S hardlines Right head light no work Drivers side power lock no work Engine Temp and Speedo guages no work Horn no work Popping the hood is a bitch and requires two people It's the 7mgte motor running the ct-26 turbo. The leak in the exhaust manifold is robbing this car of some major HP. For the two days I've had it, it can boost up to 5psi easily. It's running a N1 Turbo 3" straight pipe exhaust. It also has TEMS, adjustable from Normal to Sport. Any input from fellow markIII owners or celica owners that know a thing or two about this car would be appreciated. I havent found any active support forums in the U.S. such as the 6gc community for this car. I'll probably post pics up later on today. |

good car.
a lot of people tend to hate that car for some reason, but that was back when i was looking to get one. now the prices have gone up so much since one of those stupid magazines included it in one of the best tuner cars under $10k good thing you got the targa, i love that option. i really wanted a removable top car(not convertable) but i would only sacrifice that feature for AWD -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
