I have gootten the brake caliper off and disconnected it from the shock what else needs to be done in order to take the brake disk off the cv joint so i can put the boot on the joint. any help appreciated thanks

should have done half shafts (the whole axle) they are easier and cheaper. i just replaced my half shafts last weekend and it cost me 60 for the shop for using a lift then 320 up front for both shafts then i got 160 back on the cores...and its real easy..oh yea and 30 to press the bracket off the bearing for the left side and get it pressed on the new one.... so i spent around 300 total, but i did it myself
