Hello...
new to the forum, love all celicas. I've got a problem, it seems every now and then turning left or right i get a clunking grinding sound in a slow hard turn. It just started happening a week a go. I've heard it might be a cv joint problem but it happends when i turn in both directions. I've check the power steering fluid but i'm not sure how high the fluid is supposed to go. I check it, but their isn't a line level. Just cold on one side and hot on the other. It looks like their is fluid in it, but i'm not sure how high. I'm not very good with cars but would like to learn. Could anyone help me... tia. |

Jack up your wheel where the sound is coming from, make sure it is secure with a jack stand and backup jack, and try to move your rim and tire.
If the wheel jiggles or has any free play...it could be the wheel bearings. -------------------- ![]() |
