Been looking round on the road and other peoples car in this forum. Kinda puzzled dont know what it is but ive noticed some cars look really good without the sideskirts and some look like crap, Maybe this is a combination of how big the rims are, how low the vehicle is, size of the spoiler or the front bumper. Any ideas?

I agree with everyone else - skirts are essential 6gc equipment
![]() They help make the car look lower from the side (profile view) and when combined with a front and rear spoiler kit or replacement bumpers, give a professional, completed look to a car (IMHO of course). The reason some cars look good with skirts, and some not-so-good, may be because of the huge range of different styles of skirts out there, even skirts that are supposed to be replicas of the standard toyota skirts turn out to have slightly different styling. Along with that, some skirts are bolted on, whereas others are molded on then painted - giving a smoother look. In the end I guess it comes down to personal preference - I used to like the veilside type skirts, but where I live it seems every one in five import cars I see has them, so I've become more of a fan of the molded, more subtle look now. ![]() -------------------- ![]() |
