There's a link to the hotshot headers for the 5S-FE. I'm not sure if this is the same company that is making headers for that big group buy or not. Either way, here's some info on it. EDIT: Checked it, it's definately not the same as the group buy one. But this one is $457. This one seems to be from a lot more creditable place though. Bad thing is its for the 90-93 5S-FE, but it should fit with/without mild mods. Correct me if I'm wrong. Hotshot's company pulled all this same BS on me about year to two years ago. Saying the exact same things you are relaying. As a 6th gen Celica comunity, any dealer could really give a bigger ****, they don't CARE.
