I was asking because I was wondering if everyone here knew about the 9006 to 9005 conversion. AKA, High beams in low beam socket. I did it to my '96 Camry and have loved it since I did it back in Dec with Silverstars. So much brighter and Whiter! ****Edit If people want, I will type up a quick DIY with pics tomorrow afternoon. Just lemme know
I knew about it from my bimmer fourm. but i have also read a topic here that someone said it was a stupid idear and could burn up your wires. I did it awhile ago. and have had it like that for almost a year. I love it, brighter lights. I do some times get the flash for people thinking my highs are on, but there pointed the same direction as the lows , so there fine. |
