I was asking because I was wondering if everyone here knew about the 9006 to 9005 conversion. AKA, High beams in low beam socket. I did it to my '96 Camry and have loved it since I did it back in Dec with Silverstars.

So much brighter and Whiter! biggrin.gif

****Edit If people want, I will type up a quick DIY with pics tomorrow afternoon. Just lemme know

I knew about it from my bimmer fourm. but i have also read a topic here that someone said it was a stupid idear and could burn up your wires. I did it awhile ago. and have had it like that for almost a year. I love it, brighter lights. I do some times get the flash for people thinking my highs are on, but there pointed the same direction as the lows , so there fine.

I have only gotten flashed like 3 times since early Dec. And for burning the wiring harness like some people say, it can't. The wires for the Low's and High's are the same. The only difference is the bulb connector as far as I know. HID's on the other hand can fry them.
