The crimestopper 865RKE is a keyless entry ONLY. No alarm.

Directed Electronics, who makes Viper, Python, Clifford etc. makes a simple alarm with keyless entry and then there are expansion pieces which are decently cheap in which you can add on to the alarm. I have a pretty old Viper 300 ESP (not in production ne more) which is the simple alarm, but then I have the 508D addition which creates a "radar" field around the car, and around the inside of the car. This provides a chirp or alarm to people who get to close, or people who stick their hand in my sunroof without touching the car. Each field is adjustable.

What I would recommend, is the simple Viper 350HV with the addition of the 508D so that you can feel safter leaving your top down. There is also an expansion piece for a trunk popper if you so wish.

Browse www.directed.com for more information and see what other stuff can be added to a simple alarm.
