mad.gif Hello everybody....

I just received my new Wise Sports front bumper. Ohhhhh NOOOOOO!!! Cracks everywhere. Really uneven surface. Bad edges with tiny holes. I am really pissed off a bit. For araound 1500$ (including shipping) i would expect a bit more!!!

Well as i won't be able to send this crap back to where it belongs i will have to spend more money on it to get it fixed in a proper way...

Well i just wanted to let u all know...

Joerg

Hello girls ;-)

Thats what happend the last 3 days.....
1) I went to a garage which did my last fenders paint job. That was the first time i have seen that garage... i went out backwards!!! I still cannot believe how the can actually work in such a dirty and messed up garage???

2) I went to my local Toyota Garage.... ( I have to admit that i never have been satisfied with their work...!!!) Well he offered me the same price for fitting this bumper... around 600$ (no painting or preparing to paint included = just fitting) That would be around the same prize as the 1. garage.

Well the 3) garage i went to ( i should have done that first!!!) was the one i have been once ago. The are speciallized into fixing old Corvette Stingrays!!! and they do a lot of glasfibre stuff (the same material as my bumper!!!) and they do a really good paintjob. He wants 600-700$ for fixing and fitting the bumper including the work which is required to prepare my bumper for painting and the painting itself. He said the bumper doesn`t look to bad and it would be "normal" to get bumpers like these out of glassfibre. They usualy don`t fit 100% and often have cracks... After i talked to this guy i was convinced that he would be the one to get this job. I even get it 100$ cheaper if i prepare the bumper a bit... Fair deal so far. An i have seen his work before.... nothing to be worried about....

So i will get it going... I will keep you updated soon ;-) And i can smile again allready!!!!!

Jörch

btw. Please don`t mind about any mistakes in my english. if you might find some mistakes, you are allowed to keep them ;-)
