I want everyones honest opinion on this. What do you all think about an Electric supercharger on a celica?

the ebay electirc superchargers are crap!! The amount of power that can be delivered by your battery or alternator without a larger transformer is no where near enough to spin a compressor to a resonalbe, sustainable speed to provide positive pressure.
Shin is right, that the only electric spercharger that is proven sort of acts like nitrous, as its a one shot deal. You press a button and it activates the supercharger. But this only lasts for a few seconds, as the power drain is enormous and thus can only be sustained for only so long. Its battery will recharge over time, but not soon enough to use it in the same run, or a run thats within the hour. -------------------- Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it... |
