brake rotor Options

hey is there any good front brake rotor out there for our celica st ?????

Shin, its actually physically impossible for you to get better braking power out of them; they're surface space is reduced too much by the slots and the holes- now if you replaced the pads, or your old rotors were going out.. then you might feel a difference; but a stock rotor vs cross and drilled, stock rotor would win.

drilled and slotted rotor do improve braking and brake fade because as you brake a gas builds up between your pads and rotor and the slots or holes provide a place for this gas to escape so your pads and rotor can have better contact

That argument may hold true if you're using brake pads for 30 years ago... Read ANYWHERE from retailers that sell slotted/drilled rotors and they WILL NOT say those rotors are for better performance. With today's compound brake pads... there is NO reason to run drilled or slotted rotors from a braking performance perspective. There may be minor heat dissapation differences and such, but braking improvements are lacking.
