in search of a new car.., need some input. Options

i guess my dad's stock went up or something because he asked me earlier today if i wanted to buy a new car (w/o selling my celica) and i was like 'sure! why not!' (he normally doesn't spoil me like this )

anywho, the max he is going to spend is about $19-$20k ... nothing hardcore like an Evo or WRS or RSX .. just something that i can use to drive to school and such. i dont know much about other cars so i am asking for peeps opinions/suggestions. for sure i know i dont want a honda. i'm lookin for a 2door car, nice and has some decent HP.

05 mustang
05 celica

wut else should i be looking at ??

thanks for all the input guys/gals. after much thinking (1 day.. haha) i know for sure i'm not going to get another celica.

i looked into the 05 corolla and it looks pretty nice. the impreza 2.5RS is cool too, i checked out the corolla XRS but i dont like the rear end of the car.

imma look into the TC and see wut they have. i guess i cant really choose one until i drive em all huh?

any comments about the new mustang ??
