my car seems to have like twice as much pull when i start it up cold wait about 15 secs and drive off...when the car is warm it seems slower....does this have anything to do with temperature of the air in the engine creating higher boost? many people have said that on a dyno cold air intake systems show hardly any improvement....well in a dyno u r not traveling down the road allowing colder outside air to be forced into the engine, shouldnt this be taken into consideration? if i installed a cold air intake would i notice a difference in performance related to how my car drives cold?

QUOTE(qban537 @ Mar 22, 2005 - 7:50 PM) i think he meant as in the engine being cold Yes he ment as in let the cars engine warm up.. dont just walk outside when its 10 degrees start it up then take off.. which most people do. Let it warm up then you'll be fine. |
