I'm wiring up my HU with the adapter harness to make things easier. Things are going well. Theres a blue wire with a white stripe coming from the new HU that reads "System Remote Control. Now there's a plain blue cable coming from the harness. I'm confused, where do these go? COOMER, HELP! lol.
Oh yea, theres also a wire coming from the HU that says MUTE. but theres no harness wire that goes to it. Its yellow w/black stripe. This post has been edited by JoKeRkId613: Mar 22, 2005 - 3:05 PM -------------------- ![]() |

No, it gives off approximately +12 volts, or is supposed to, on every head unit(with the exception of some factory head units...I believe a couple of those give +5 volt signals.)
That's why you can use a standard SPDT automotive relay on a remote wire to power things such as fans for the amps, neon lights, etc. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
